A GUM (Genital
Urinary Medicine) clinic often referred to as
“Special” “VD” or “Clap” clinic, specialise in
the treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections
(STI’s). They are one of the places you can go
if you suspect that you’ve contracted a STI.
GUM’s are located across the country and are
usually linked to their nearest General
Hospital. You are not restricted to go to your
nearest GUM and are free to go to anyone of
them.
